"TOP-DOWN Puzzle Metroidvania" for Metroidvania Month 12

It's the year 2121 and scientists at the new Super Large Hadron Collider (SLHC) at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland are attempting to create the newly theorized hexaquark. They are successful but they accidentally create a blackhole in the reactor that will destroy the world. It is your job to go into the reactor, and find your way to the black hole to destroy it before it destroys the world. 

NOTE: The Linux build has been tested. The Windows and Mac builds have not. Please let me know if there are issues with them.

Controls

WASD/Arrow Keys - move, navigate menus

Z - Accept, interact

X - use staff, back, cancel

C - swap staff mode

Spacebar - Start, pause menu

Nice game! I love appearance and music. Acceleration based movement was a little bit inconvinient at first but I got to it. And, yeah, starting all over from the very begginning is a bit hardcore to me, so I haven't make to the end, sorry

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, the movement was a little off for me. I try to use grid-based movement now to avoid issues. Also did my save system not work properly? I tried adding one but I've heard multiple people say that they were sent back to the start.

Does it saves automatiacally or is there some kind of checkpoints I didn't mention? I've opened large area of the map and then was forced to start all over ... =(

The computers that you see every so often are computers where you can heal and save your game. I'm realizing I probably didn't make these checkpoints obvious enough and they might just seem like decorations.
